Almost after six and half months' battle with top singers selected from across the country, Salman Ali pipped his competitors to emerge as the winner of the Indian Idol Season 10.
The five contestants that made to finale of the Indian Idol Season 10 were Nitin Kumar, Salman Ali, Ankush Bharadwaj, Neelanjana Ray and Vibhor Parashar. Judged by Neha Kakkar, Javed Ali and Vishal Dadlani, the singing reality TV show premiered on Sony TV on July 29, 2018.
The lad from Kotgarh Himachal Pradesh, Ankush Bhardwaj emerged as the first runner up while Neelanjana Ray became the 2nd runner up.
Along with the trophy, Salman Ali received a cash prize of Rs 25 lakh and a Datsun Go car, while the two runners up were given trophies and cash prize of Rs 5 lakh each.
King Khan, Anushka Sharma and Katrina were seen promoting their recently released movie ‘Zero’ during the finale.
Nitin was awarded the Performer of the Season, while all five were given the Performer of the Day awards in the grand finale.
