Ileana D'Cruz Turned Down Salman Khan?

Ileana D’Cruz is very much popular among youngsters especially for her good looks and the hot photos that she shares on social media. On the career-front, her movies are not doing well as expected. Her recent release “Pagalpanti” starring John Abraham, Kriti Kharbanda, Urvashi Rautela, Pulkit Samrat and Arshad Warsi tanked at the box-office. Anees Bazmi’s ambitious venture failed to create the laughter riot that is usually expected of his movies.

That is why; Ileana is currently in a mood to introspect her career choices. Recently she opened up about her career decisions that went wrong.

Ileana D’Cruz Rejected Salman Khan Movies Twice?

Before debuting in Bollywood with Priyanka Chopra and Ranbir Kapoor movie “Barfi” Ileana already was a big star in the Telugu film world. After diverting her focus towards the Hindi film industry, she had a couple of major hits like “Tu Mera Hero” at the start. But post this movie of David Dhawan starring Nargis Fakhri and Varun Dhawan she has not been able to get the right take off that an actress needs to reach superstardom in B-town.

That is why when the “Badshaho” actress revealed recently that she had rejected Salman Khan’s offer twice, it raised many eyebrows. Ileana confessed that she was offered Bhai’s superhit movies “Kick” and “Wanted” both of which were the remake of her original Telugu movie. The Goan beauty now laments the fact that she should have said yes to at least one of the movies which would have given her the major hit that she has been looking for since long.

“Wanted” was a remake of Telugu movie “Pokiri” whereas “Kick” was inspired by a Telugu movie by the same name released in 2009. Incidentally, in both these movies, Ileana D’Cruz played the lead actress. The actress also cleared that there was nothing personal in rejecting these offers. But she had to take this decision because of dates scheduling issues.
