Ileana is teaming up with Randeep Hooda for the first time with Unfair and Lovely. Its story is based on the obsession of Indians with fair skin. The topic has become more relevant after the Black Lives Matter movement gathered momentum in the USA. It also received big support in other countries as well as in India.
Unfair and Lovely will be the debut movie as a director for famous screenplay writer Balwinder Janjua. Having worked with him earlier in Mubarakan, Ileana D'Cruz was quite comfortable doing this movie.
