Chennai: Director Karthick Naren has confirmed that Hindi remake of his critically acclaimed Tamil directorial debut "Dhuruvangal 16" is on the cards.

On Sunday night, Karthick posted on his Facebook page: "Bollywood remake rights of 'Dhuruvangal 16' have been sold. A senior actor has agreed on the remake and an A-list actor is planning to watch the film soon. However, it won't be our immediate next project."

Interestingly, Monday marks the 75th day of "Dhuruvangal 16", a murder mystery, in select cities across Tamil Nadu.

Starring actor Rahman in the lead, the film's story is about the last case he investigates before hanging up his boots.
