Over the years, one landmark comedy film that attained cult status in Bollywood is Hera Pheri. Recently, the film completed 21 years and making fans’ dream come true, producer Firoz Nadiadwala confirmed the Hera Pheri 3 is on its way. Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, and Paresh Rawal aka the iconic trio of Raju, Shyam, and Baburao will be reuniting for the sequel.
Much to the delight of the fans, producer Firoz also revealed that they are also planning a number of sequels in the row. Spilling the beans to Pinkvilla, he said “The script is finalized and you will hear an official announcement soon. The idea is to have not just Hera Pheri 3, but several more Hera Pheri’s and we are working keeping that in mind,”

Firoz shared the pressure the makers are facing while working on the sequel as it is a cult franchise and fans have been waiting for more than a decade. Interesting after years fans will finally get answers to the last scene where the film ended in the second sequel. The film ended with a cliff-hanger as Raju was on the bridge trying to get hold of guns lying between the bridge and the sea. He said, “Yes, it will be a continuation of Phir Hera Pheri. People will finally get an answer to the last scene of Phir Hera Pheri.” Doesn’t this come as a pure delight for all the Hera Pheri fans?

The producer also added that there will soon be an official announcement on the third installment. There is no doubt that any update on the film will heighten fans’ excitement who have been waiting for their favorite trio to unite for years.
