HBD Shahid Kapoor: Unbelievable Transformation From Chocolate Boy To Menacing Kaminey

Shahid Kapoor was the perfect chocolate boy material when he busted on celluloid with Ishq Vishk-a dream launch for a handsome actor in his teens. The movie was a sleeper hit and Sasha bagged the much-coveted trophy of Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut. What followed was a series of romantic flicks that further boosted his chocolate hero image.

Be it Kismet Konnection with Vidya Balan, Vivah with Amruta Arora, or Chance Pe Dance and Badmash Company Shahid continued doing romantic roles. But it was Jab We Met that really made his foray into a top league.

One of the famous international movie critics, Joe Leydon reviewed Shahid Kapoor's performance in Kaminey. He wrote, "He impressively displays sufficiently variegated degrees of emotional intensity to sustain the illusion of two distinct characters. Just as important, he provides each sibling an appropriately elevated hunkiness quotient."

Kabir Singh was the biggest hit of 2019 and also became a game-changer for Shahid Kapoor whose demand escalated after this South Indian remake became a blockbuster. His price as an actor peaked. After Kabir Singh big banners started approaching him with good projects.
