HBD Imran Khan: When Aamir Khan Turned Item Boy For His Nephew
Imran Khan owes his Bollywood debut and career to mamu jaan Aamir Khan. While the Katti Batti actor who celebrates his birthday today is currently not active in Bollywood, in his short span of a career as an actor Imran worked in two Aamir Khan Productions movies.
Apart from giving him a fabulous launching pad in Bollywood with Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na, when Imran started struggling for good movies, the Mr. Perfectionist of Tinseltown produced Delhi Belly. The PK actor even went out of the way doing an item number for the movie.

Aamir Khan Turned Item Boy For Imran Khan’s Movie
The song I hate you like I love you… Tere pyaar ne kar diya deewana…from Delhi Belly saw the cool and handsome Aamir turn rowdy and aggressive. Discussing why he decided to do the item number himself instead of offering it to a leading Bollywood lady, the Lagaan producer-actor said, “We’d planned the song some time ago and it was (wife) Kiran who pushed me into doing it. I agreed to give it a shot because it is a fun song and something I have never done before.”
He even denied that the song was earlier offered to Malaika Arora, Deepika Padukone, and Katrina Kaif but these leading actresses rejected the offer. On the other hand, Aamir said that he felt great doing the song. He even joked, “It’s time for the item girls to pack up their bags because the item boys are here to stay and give them a run for their money.”
Aamir went on to say that the song was even better than Munni Badnam Hui and Sheila Ki Jawani item numbers. However, the A-rated movie failed to give a boost to Imran Khan’s career.
Imran Khan's movies were ahead of its time. Actually like him as an actor. Underrated. pic.twitter.com/8w4CeYvoGl

Hopefully, soon he will find a way back to the world of entertainment the way Bobby Deol did and will once again entertain his fans.
