The He-Man of Bollywood Dharmendra has turned 85 today. The actor has been winning the hearts of the audience with his charm for decades now. And with passing years if anything has stayed constant apart from the audience’s love for him, it is Dharm paaji and Hema Malini’s iconic love story.
Back in the ’70s, Dharmendra and dream girl Hema’s love story raised eyebrows and faced many odds. Dharmendra was first married to Prakash Kaur at the age of 19 and had two sons Sunny and Bobby Deol. However, he fell head over heels with Hema when he came to Mumbai. After a lot of judgment by society and even the dream girl resisting the decision, the two tied the knot in1980. They have two daughters Ahana and Esha Deol.
Over the years after their marriage, a lot was said about the couple and their complicated family relations. But the two continue to give massive couple goals to their fans not thinking about the haters.
