It is John Abraham's birthday today. Starting as a model and then venturing into Bollywood with Jism, the superhot hunk has come a long way.   1. Madras Cafe (2013)

Also starring Nargis Fakhri, Madras Cafe was a completely no-nonsense movie sans any typical Bollywood masala or song and dance routine. Based on real facts related to the Indian prime minister's assassination in Madras, the crisp editing of the film was the highlight that kept the audience glued to the seats. Directed by Shotjit Sircar John's portrayal of an intelligence officer in Madras Cafe was also appreciated.

   2. Batla House (2019)

Released last year, John Abraham once again plays a police officer in this Nikkhil Advani-movie. It is the same old story about how the officer struggles with internal corruption to give justice using some alternate ways and reach the fugitives. Fans loved the way John executed the action scenes in Batla House.

   3. No Smoker (2007)

The movie is about a chain-smoker who does a stint in rehab to get off his habit of smoking. However, he decides to leave the rehab, and later on, his smoking causes a lot of issues to his family and friends. The drama revolves around smoking and money and is quite entertaining.

  4. Taxi No. 9211 (2006)

In this movie for the first time, John Abraham shared screen space with famous actor Nana Patekar. The story with unpredictable twists and turns has been beautifully woven around the two characters. Interestingly, the camaraderie between Nana and John is the highlight of the Milan Lutharia movie.

  5. New York (2009)

The Kabir Khan-movie stars Katrina Kaif, Irrfan Khan, John Abraham, and Neil Nitin Mukesh. It is a very interesting flick in which John plays a negative character. The story is about a man who turns against the American government and wants to initiate some terrorist activities in the city of New York.
