Understanding High Fashion is not everyone’s cup of tea but sometimes it gets too much for the public to comprehend. Recently, Luxury brand Gucci also stirred up a hullabaloo with a trend that left many saying, ‘But Why?’
It happened so that American-Iranian novelist Porochista Khakpour shared a picture of the ‘upside-down’ cat-eye trend which is a fresh addition to Gucci’s eyewear collection. The high-end brand described their product as "an unconventional take on the '50s and '60s inspired cat-eye frames, these sunglasses are presented with an inverted design that created an 'upside down' effect."
If you find it bizarre, wait till you hear the price of this accessory. The inverted cat-eye is priced at $755, which is about Rs 56,000 when converted to Indian currency.
After this trend came to light, it sparked a debate and the netizens shared their hilarious reactions to it. Adding it to the list of unusual things we have seen this year, here are some of the entertaining takes on this trend -
