After being delayed for nearly two months owing to the coronavirus pandemic, the 78th Golden Globe Awards kicked off on Sunday night. The virtual ceremony was hosted by Amy Poehler and Tina Fey, Fey and Poehler for different sections. There were some major wins and some winners made history on the awards night.
Chadwick Boseman was posthumously awarded the best actor in a drama for his last movie Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom. Chloé Zhao became only the second woman ever to win the best director for Nomadland which also won the best drama film.
