Samantha Ruth Prabhu marked this year’s Republic Day with a moment she once never thought possible. The actor attended the President’s At-Home Reception at Rashtrapati Bhavan in New Delhi and described the experience as deeply personal and emotional. 

Sharing glimpses from the prestigious evening on Instagram, Samantha reflected on how far she has come—from quiet dreams to standing at one of the country’s most historic venues.

“There Were No Cheerleaders Growing Up”

Alongside a series of photographs, Samantha penned a heartfelt note admitting that she never imagined such a moment while growing up. “Growing up, there were no cheerleaders… no inner voice that ever suggested I’d be here one day,” she wrote. She further added that there was no roadmap for dreams like these, but she kept showing up in a country that allowed that to be enough, expressing gratitude for the journey.

Inside the Rashtrapati Bhavan Evening

The photos shared by Samantha offered a glimpse into the elegant Republic Day reception. One image showed her standing in the lush gardens of Rashtrapati Bhavan with fellow guests in the background. 

Another captured President Droupadi Murmu, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and other dignitaries posing together. She also shared a close-up of the official invitation card she received for the event.

In another photograph, Samantha was seen seated comfortably, dressed in a pastel green saree paired with matching jewellery. She geo-tagged the location as Rashtrapati Bhavan, underlining the significance of the moment.

Fans Celebrate Her Journey

Fans quickly flooded the comments section, celebrating Samantha’s journey. Messages like “From quiet dreams to a proud moment in history” and “From dreams to Rashtrapati Bhavan… this is history” reflected the admiration many feel for her path and perseverance.

Earlier, Samantha had also shared a picture from her car, holding the invitation card, captioning it, “This one’s staying with me forever.” The reception was attended by several global dignitaries, including European Commission President Ursula Von Der Leyen and European Council President Antonio Costa.

On the work front, Samantha has begun shooting for her upcoming film Maa Inti Bangaram, produced by Raj Nidimoru, Samantha, and Himank Duvvuru, and directed by Nandini Reddy. She is also working with Raj & DK on the series Rakt Brahmand: The Bloody Kingdom.
