Almost every actor steps into the glamour industry with a dream of reaching the top by gaining name and fame. But, only a few of them achieve it. Possibly, the film industry would not have had so many of these talents had they embarked on a different journey.

We are talking about B-Town divas- Deepika Padukone, Kareena Kapoor, Kangana Ranaut, Parineeti Chopra, Bipasha Basu, and top actors like Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Saif Ali Khan, Arjun Rampal and Sushant Singh Rajput.

Certainly, movie lovers would have never witnessed the talent of these B-Town stars had they chosen any other career. Here we bring the list of the actors who didn't have any intention to enter the glamour world.

Deepika Padukone- Fans are well aware of the family background of the ‘Padmavat’ actress. Being the daughter of popular badminton player- Prakash Padukone, her parents never would have dreamt that she would pursue a career as an actress. The actress has disclosed, her dad would have been happy if she had become a badminton player like him. Deepika even stated that her parents have always supported and respected her decisions.

Kareena Kapoor Khan- Bebo belongs to the family of Kapoors, who are one of the most respected families in the B-Town. Even though most of the family members are into Bollywood, Kareena had different plans. She wanted to become a lawyer but luck had different plans for her.

Kangana Ranaut- If not an actress, Kangana Ranaut would have become a doctor as per her parents’ wish. The 'Queen' actress was spotted by Anurag Basu at a coffee shop in Mumbai where the director had offered her the opportunity to work in the flick ‘Gangster’, which was Kangana’s debut movie. Since then, Kangana has not looked back.

Parineeti Chopra- Though she is Priyanka Chopra's sister, she never had any interest to enter Bollywood. She even worked at Yash Raj Films as a Public Relation Consultant. She dreamt of becoming an investment banker with her high qualifications but later her dreams shattered with the 2009 economic slowdown. While working with Yash Raj Films, she got the offer of working in the movie ‘Ladies vs Ricky Bahl’. Soon after that, the same production house signed her for three films.

Bipasha Basu- Bipasha had no intention to enter the B-Town until Arjun Rampal's wife and leading model Mehr Jessia spotted her at a hotel and insisted to try her luck in modelling. Fans are well aware of what happened subsequently.

Shah Rukh Khan- The Badshah of Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan, is the undisputed romantic icon of the B-Town. The craze of fans for him still continues even after several decades since he made his entry into the film industry. But, the movie industry may not have got this gem because SRK never wanted to be an actor but a sportsman. However, he entered the restaurant business and after its failure, he started working as an usher at a concert. Later, he headed to Mumbai to fulfill his love for theatres. But, destiny had different plans as he still rules millions of hearts.

Aamir Khan- Mr. Perfectionist as fans call him, Aamir Khan is the son of Tahir Khan- a leading producer of his time. Though, Aamir had worked as a child artist he never wanted to become an actor. Rather, he wanted to become a director. Probably, destiny had something else that led him to become a superstar after his debut movie ‘Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak’ which became a blockbuster.

Saif Ali Khan- Saif Ali Khan, son of popular cricketer Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi and actress Sharmila Tagore, belonged to the royal Pataudi family. Inspired from his father since childhood, Saif wanted to become a cricketer, but things changed when he reached his adulthood and went on to become an actor.
