Bhubaneswar/Hyderabad: The year 2018 has been so far the best one for the Tollywood actress Samantha Akkineni. Movies like ‘Rangasthalam’, ‘Mahanati’ and ‘UTurn’ put her on the top among the actresses and was praised for her superb acting skills.

The actress has now joined hands with director Nandini Reddy for her next - the remake of Korean movie ‘Miss Granny’ where she will be seen in a dual role. In the movie, she will play an elderly woman who regains her youthful appearance, returns from her 70s to 20s.

The movie is yet to get a title but it has gone on the floors yesterday in Hyderabad following a puja ceremony. Samantha, who joined the sets on Friday, took up to Twitter to share her excitement.

She wrote, “Prepping for my most interesting character yet... I’ve realised I get scared a lot, I am nervous all the time ,but I have never not accepted a challenge. Sometimes, actually most times you are stronger than you think you are.. #newbeginnings,"[sic].

Moreover, Samantha will also be seen sharing screen space with her husband and actor Naga Chaitanya in ‘Majili’.
