Mumbai: Jio Garden in Mumbai witnessed Bollywood's biggest star-studded award night on Saturday, the 64th edition of the Filmfare Awards, which ended on a celebratory note for the most-talked couple in B-Town, Alia and Ranbir. The duo bagged the best actor and actress awards for their roles in the films "Sanju" and "Raazi".
Alia's film "Raazi" scored the highest with five awards including the category of Best Film, Best Director for Meghna Gulzar.
"Meghna for me 'Raazi' is you, your blood and sweat. You are my main chick Vicky without u the film wouldn't be complete. Thank u my mentor Karan for being my mentor, father and my fashion police. Tonight's all about love there my special one, I love you (Ranbir Kapoor)," said Alia, after receiving the best actress Award.
The Critics Awards for Best Actor went to Ranveer Singh for his menacing role in the film "Padmaavat". His gorgeous wife, Deepika Padukone also graced the occasion.
The night also turned out to be lucky for Bollywood's off-beat actor Ayushmann Khuranaas his film "Badhaai Ho" bagged several awards including the Critics' Award for Best Actor (Female) for Neena Gupta, Best Actor In A Supporting Role awards for Gajraj Rao and Surekha Sikri and the Best Dialouge Award for Akshat Ghildial. Khurana's other masterpiece, 'Andhadhun, was also lauded with the Critics' Award for Best Film.
The Filmfare Award for Best Debutant went to Sara Ali Khan for "Kedarnath" and Ishaan Khattar for "Beyond The Cloud".
