Sanjay Dutt refuses to let his health issues come in the way of his commitment to work. According to sources, Sanju Baba is back to shooting for his upcoming action adventure flick Shamshera.

After being reportedly diagnosed for lung cancer, Sanjay Dutt completed the first cycle of chemotherapy over the weekend and was quick to report on the sets of his next film.

Baba was snapped by the paparazzi outside a Mumbai studio, where he waved at the flashing cameras.

Recently, Sanju’s wife Maanayata took to social media to share a note of encouragement for the actor and penned a heartfelt inspirational message along with it reminding him not to quit.

According to sources, he will be shooting for the two days for the patchwork, after which he will go in for the next leg of his treatment that is set to begin this week.

Earlier, the 61-year-old actor shared a short message on his Instagram account on August 11 announcing his short break from shooting for his treatments and hospitalisation.

This led to a flurry of headlines speculating that this might delay the release of Shamshera for quite some time, but Baba rubbished all these speculations with kicking off the shoot this week.

The ‘Vaastav’ actor will be seen playing the antagonist in the period film. The film also stars ‘reel life Sanju’ Ranbir Kapoor playing a double role and is directed by Karan Malhotra.
