Disha Vakani's return on Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah has been the most discussed topic in the last couple of years. Earlier it was the producer Asit Kumarr Modi who spilled beans on the conditions put forth by the actress for making a comeback to the show.
However, now even the actors from Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah are making some revelations or coming out with their own opinions. A couple of months ago, Nattu Kaka aka Ghanashyam Nayak said that even though Disha is important for the show they are all now tired of waiting for her.

Now it is the turn of Sunayana Fozdar who joined TMKOC a few months ago replacing Neha Mehta as Anjali Mehta.

Disha Vakani who played the famous character of Dayaben on the comedy serial took a break in September 2017. Sunayana being a new addition to the star cast has hence not met her. Recently during an interview, the actress made a statement regarding the comeback of Disha Vakani.

Sunayana said, "I wish I knew this answer, I really wish. Because I have never met her (Disha Vakani) and honestly, I would love to meet her or whatever." What she said further was more surprising.
According to Sunayana, "Humko abhi tak aisi koi baat boli nai gayi hai, we don’t know anything at all. I mean it, we really don’t know. The best person is Asit sir to answer this question. Kyuki hum khud bhi janna chahte hai, hum bhi ek dusre ko kaafi baar puchte hai. Kisiko kuch nahi pata hai."
So even for the star cast of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, it is a mystery whether Disha will return to reprise Daya's role or not
