In the video, Dhanush is seen wearing a white veshti with a gold border and a matching shirt, while Mrunal looks radiant in a maroon-red saree.

The visuals also feature several prominent stars, including Thalapathy Vijay, Dulquer Salmaan, Ajith Kumar, Trisha Krishnan, Shruti Haasan, and music composer Anirudh Ravichander, seemingly attending the ceremony. The video was shared with the claim that the couple got married on January 22 in Chennai.

AI-Generated Video Exposed

However, a closer look reveals that the video is not real. The clip was created using artificial intelligence and shared by Instagram account @devaimation.

While the post included detailed captions about a private wedding ceremony, it also carried a disclaimer stating that the reel was AI-generated and meant purely for entertainment and news-style representation.

Several netizens quickly pointed out inconsistencies, including the presence of Ajith Kumar, who was reportedly in Dubai on the date mentioned. Most viewers eventually realised that the visuals were fabricated, though not before causing widespread confusion online.

Wedding Rumours Already Dismissed

Earlier this month, reports suggested that Dhanush and Mrunal were planning a private wedding on Valentine’s Day, February 14. However, a source close to the actors dismissed these claims, telling HT City that Mrunal is not getting married anytime soon and that the rumours have no basis.

The source also highlighted Mrunal’s packed release schedule, with Do Deewane Seher Mein set to release around the same time, followed by a Telugu film in March, making a February wedding unlikely.
