Bhojpuri superstar Khesari Lal Yadav, who has numerous Bhojpuri hit films and songs to his credit, keeps landing in controversy for various reasons. The actor kick-started another controversy as he made some statements during his Facebook live session. In the live, Khesari claimed that the entire Bhojpuri film industry is conspiring against him and planning to make him the next Sushant Singh Rajput while adding that he is not weak.

During the live, Khesari opened up about being targeted by the Bhojpuri industry just as Sushant was by Bollywood. He also claimed, while getting emotional, that even though he is treated that way, he is not a weak person.

He said, "I think Bhojpuri industry is planning to make another Sushant Singh Rajput. I have been receiving the same love from the Bhojpuri industry that Sushant received from Bollywood. However, I am not a weak person and have the support of my audience and the people of the country."

He further added that even though he shares many similarities with Sushant, he isn’t weak. He said, “Even though I am also from the same state and village of that of Sushant’s and a Bihari like him, but I am not weak.” He also said that he has no idea why people are so jealous and against him but is glad the audience and public support him no matter what.

However, the statement of Khesari didn't go well with some fans of Sushant as they said that the Bhojpuri actor, while narrating his ordeal, termed the late actor as weak.

"No doubt Khesari also enjoys a huge fan following and people love him, but terming Sushant Singh Rajput weak at a time when we believe that the actor has been murdered, is not acceptable. He should have understand the sensitiveness of the issue," said a fan.

Now, as per the latest reports, Khesari Lal Yadav has landed in legal soup as filmmaker Rajkumar Pandey has filed a case against him in Lucknow for allegedly issuing threats to him and his son. He also claimed that the actor has been running a smear campaign against him through social media.
