An AI-generated reimagining of Dhurandhar has sparked nostalgia and curiosity online, blending the film’s raw intensity with the unmistakable swagger of 1980s Bollywood. 

On January 14, AI artist and short filmmaker Souvik, popularly known as Mr Hellrocker on Instagram, shared a striking “what if” scenario that casts iconic stars of the past in pivotal roles from the present-day film.

Amitabh Bachchan and Vinod Khanna Lead the Alternate Reality

At the centre of this imagined universe is Amitabh Bachchan as Hamza Ali Mazari, a role originally played by Ranveer Singh. Rendered with a rugged beard, flowing hair, and a brooding gaze, Amitabh’s look channels the simmering rage of his Deewaar and Shakti era.
