Amitabh Bachchan and Vinod Khanna Lead the Alternate Reality

At the centre of this imagined universe is Amitabh Bachchan as Hamza Ali Mazari, a role originally played by Ranveer Singh. Rendered with a rugged beard, flowing hair, and a brooding gaze, Amitabh’s look channels the simmering rage of his Deewaar and Shakti era. Clad in muted olive tones and framed by cigarette smoke, the AI visual captures a volatile, larger-than-life presence.

Matching him frame for frame is Vinod Khanna as Rehman Dakait. Dressed in sharp black Pathani suits and aviator sunglasses, Vinod exudes a calm, lethal charm. His pairing with Parveen Babi, reimagined as Ulfat, recalls one of the most glamorous screen pairings of the era.

A Golden-Age Ensemble Gets a Digital Revival

The supporting cast reads like a roll call of Bollywood royalty. Sridevi steps into Yalina Jamali’s role with ethereal grace, dressed in pristine white and radiating quiet strength. Jackie Shroff appears as Major Iqbal, sporting a thick beard and tinted shades that amplify his rugged “Jaggu dada” persona.

Villains, Bureaucrats, and a Touch of Surprise

On the darker side, Amrish Puri as SP Choudhary Aslam brings a piercing intensity to the antagonist’s role, while Paresh Rawal fits seamlessly into Ajay Sanyal’s bureaucratic conflict. A surprising highlight is Rishi Kapoor as Uzair Balochi, seen in a grounded, bearded avatar that adds emotional depth.
