The melody queen of India Lata Mangeshkar is currently hospitalized as she is suffering from bad health. However, a recent message from the nightingale’s family says that she is recovering and her health is stable. But her family members were extremely disappointed when some sensation-mongers and over-enthusiastic social media users tweeted that the legendary singer is no more.

Lataji Is Doing Well, Says Family Spokesperson
According to reports, Lataji was admitted in the early hours of last Monday to the Breach Candy Hospital after she suffered from difficulty in breathing. The 90-year-old singer was admitted to the ICU and is doing well said the spokesperson from the Mangeshkar family. Also known as “Gaan Kokila” Lataji has sung more than 30,000 songs in almost all the regional Indian languages and is one of the greatest playback singers of all time to contribute to Indian cinema.
Lataji was awarded the highest Indian civilian honour “Bharat Ratna” in 2001. She recorded her last album in Hindi for the late filmmaker Yash Chopra in 2004 for the movie “Veer-Zaara.” Tweet of Dharmendra shows how deeply he feels for Lataji as their association goes back to more than five decades.
