The Gray Man will be the second international collaboration of Dhanush. The Atrangi Re! actor previously worked in The Extraordinary Journey of the Fakir helmed by Ken Scott. According to reports, Netflix aims to come up with a new franchise on the scale of James Bond with a budget above $200 million. The Russo brothers will produce The Gray Man under their AGBO banner. Apart from this international collaboration, Dhanush will also star in Aanand L. Rai's Atrangi Re! with Akshay Kumar and Sara Ali Khan.
