Ranveer Singh starrer 83 has been in limelight ever since its announcement. After release of Ranveer's look in the film as Kapil Dev, excitement of fans who were eagerly waiting for Deepika’s appearance in the movie reached crescendo following the release of first look of the actress as Romi Dev in which she can be seen sporting short bob hairdo.

This will be Deepika and Ranveer’s first film together post their marriage. Fans are super excited to see them create magic onscreen once again after their successful jodi in Ram Leela and Bajirao Mastaani.
The movie ’83’ is based on the life of veteran and legendary cricketer Kapil Dev, which talks about the time when team India scripted history by winning their first World Cup.
Directed by Kabir Khan, the film also features actors like R Badree, Hardy Sandhu, Chirag Patil, Saqib Saleem, Pankaj Tripathi, Tahir Bhasin, Ammy Virk and Saahil Khattar in pivotal roles.
