Recently during a show when the “Gooliyon Ki Leela, Rasleela” actress was asked to shake a leg or two on a number, she mesmerized the audience by grooving sensuously exuding pure sexual energy. What After ‘83’ and Chaapaak?
The actress recently completed shooting for “83” a biopic on the legendary life of cricketer Kapil Dev in which her husband Ranveer Singh is playing the lead role. She is also shooting for “Chaapaak” in which Deepika will be portraying the real-life character of acid-attack survivor and crusader Laxmi Agarwal. The movie will be directed by Meghna Gulzar and Deepika is also co-producing this flick.

Fans are very much eager to see Deepika in both the roles of Romi Dev and Laxmi Agarwal. A recent report also suggests that the “Cocktail” actress is gearing up to play the role of Mahabharata's legendary woman, Draupadi. The movie will unfold the story of Mahabharta and all its prominent characters from the perspective of Draupadi.
According to reports, Deepika is also co-producing this movie which indicates that in the days to come fans might get to see the actress working in more women-centric and challenging films.
