The friends are shouting “soo cute” in the background and their chemistry does look great when they deepen their gaze into each other’s eyes. But what was thought to be a treat to the fans turned out to be a nightmare for these celebrities as netizens slammed them for enjoying a party when the entire nation is burning due to the recently announced Citizenship Amendment Bill 2019.
Partying Amidst Protests & Violence?
The social media users wanted to know how can these stars celebrate and enjoy when students across India are protesting and wide-spread violence has hit the country so badly that there are all-spread anger and distress across pan India.
While many celebrities regularly comment on such major happenings in the country, there are a few who just stay away from it to avoid controversies. It is not the first time that a celebrity has been targeted for their videos or posts. Importantly, despite protests, many households in India are celebrating marriages and events. Why Deepika Padukone or Hrithik Roshan should be targeted for partying?
The answer is because they are celebrities and posting such a video on social media has hurt the feelings of those who are directly or indirectly involved in this entire issue. There is nothing wrong with the video but the timing maybe was not right.
