Deepika Padukone And Salman Khan: Here’s Why Two Superstars Are Not Working Together

Salman Khan is known for working with newcomers and pairing with all the leading ladies in the B-town. From introducing the likes of Daisy Shah, Athiya Shetty, Sonakshi Sinha, Saiee Manjrekar to working opposite Anushka Sharma, Disha Patani, Jacqueline Fernandez and more, the superstar has never shied away from working with either of the actresses of today.

But the “Bhaijjan” of Bollywood is yet to share screen space with the reigning queen Deepika Padukone. Post back to back hits with Sanjay Leela Bhansali opposite Ranveer Singh the “Om Shanti Om” actress is now on the top. Naturally, the film industry and its fans want to see Deepika and Salman together as a pair on the screen. For years directors and producers have been planning a film project with these two stars but somehow it has not materialized. But now the wife of Ranveer Singh has revealed her real reason for not accepting any project with Salman.

Deepika Wants A Good Script To Work With Salman

Recently Deepika Padukone appeared on “Bigg Boss 13” hosted by Salman Khan on Colors TV for the promotion of “Chhapaak” where the two superstars shared some interesting tidbits. When Deepika was asked why she is yet to work with the “Dabangg” superstar, the actress revealed that it is because of a lack of good script.

According to her, whenever the two of them will collaborate for a movie it will have to be exclusive and special which is why she is yet to sign any project with Salman Khan. While currently, the “Bharat” actor is basking in the glory of “Dabangg 3”s success, Deepika Padukone is busy promoting her upcoming movie based on the life of an acid survivor and crusader.

Incidentally, the actress did not have a single release in 2019 and hence “Chhpaak” is an important movie for her. Also since she turned producer with this flick its commercial success will matter the most to Deepika.
