The star cast of Chhichhore is celebrating the first year anniversary of the film in the loving memory of the lead actor Sushant Singh Rajput.
Chhichhore was released on September 6, 2019 and started off nicely at the box office. On top of that, the positive reviews and amazing word of mouth took over the country. Not only was the film one of the biggest hits of 2019, but it also achieved some huge box office hits.
Directed by NiteshTiwari, Chhichhore plays on the themes of friendship and college life.The film revolves around Anni (played by Sushant) and his college buddies and made the audience nostalgic of their good old college days.
Sushant proved his versatility as he was seen playing two roles in Chhichhore – one of a college student living the fun hostel life and for the first time playing a role of an elderly person on silver screen as a father whose son had tried committing suicide which reminded us of our dads who always have our backs.
Shraddha Kapoor who played Anni’s love interest, Varun Sharma, Tahir Raj Bhasin, Naveen Polishetty and TusharPandey as Anni’s college buddies also played key roles which made us go back in time.
The makers of the super hit film paid a heartfelt tribute to the late actor with a special video. The clip shows some behind the screen pictures and short clips featuring the cast and crew of the film and some memorable moments with Sushant. Watch the video below :
Chhichore was the last time when Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput, who tragically died on June 14, was seen on the silver screen which is now filled with bittersweet memories. Although he was last seen in Mukesh Chhabra’s Dil Bechara, the movie was released on OTT platforms post his demise.
