Kapil Sharma today shared a picture of his team from the sets of The Kapil Sharma Show. Apart from Kiku Sharda, Krushna Abhishek, and Kapil himself, the picture also shows Chandan Prabhakar.
All these stars are sitting in a fake chariot. It is for the first time that Chandan aka Chandu chaiwala has joined the show after it resumed post lockdown.
Earlier speculations were adrift that the makers have dropped him from The Kapil Sharma Show. But recently Chandan made it clear that he took a break because of personal reasons.
Since he has a small child at home, the actor was contemplating whether to start working or not as the COVID-19 threat continues to plague Mumbai.
Will Chandan Return As Chaiwala or In Different Role in The Kapil Sharma Show?
While Chandan Prabhakar has been playing various roles on the show, he is mostly known for his character of chaiwala. Now in this picture shared by Kapil Kiku Sharda is in the getup of a Badshaah. Krushna Abhishek is in the role of Sapna while Kapil is his usual self.
On the other hand, Chandan looks in the getup of a darbari. So is he playing a Birbal or a vazir? The upcoming episode will reveal it soon.

Incidentally, the chariot and the getup may have a connection with the episode in which the Mahabharata actors are coming. Yesterday, Kapil tweeted that he was shooting with the actors from Mahabharata and asked fans to send any questions to be asked.
However, it is not yet clear whether the show is inviting actors from B.R. Chopra's Mahabharata or the 2013 serial that aired on Star Plus.
The show made a promising comeback after the shooting resumed post lockdown. Since the theaters are currently closed, no big stars are coming on the show to promote their movies. Even then the makers did manage to invite some wonderful guests from the entertainment and music industry.
