While Korean boy band BTS missed their chance to win a Grammy this year, their music video 'Dynamite' that was released in August last year has made into the Guinness World Records for receiving 'most simultaneous viewers for a music video on YouTube Premieres'.

According to Forbes, the Dynamite music video premiered with 3 million concurrent viewers on August 21, 2020. The moment the page was refreshed the YouTube live counter indicated a spike and the video had over 4 million viewers. The K-pop groupās track had held the record for the highest concurrent views on the video streaming platform, YouTube.

The record was previously held by the K-pop girl band Ā Blackpink.
Setting the Grammy's on fire, the group recreated the sets of 2021 Grammy Awards' held in Los Angeles at their hometown Seoul, South Korea and performed in continuity with the rest of the show even though they weren't in the same country.
It is pertinent to mention here that, the BTS are no strangers to smashing their own records. This new Guinness Record is a fourth for BTS' Dynamite. Previously, the three records were āMost viewed YouTube video in 24 hoursā, āMost viewed YouTube music video in 24 hours', and āMost viewed YouTube music video in 24 hours by a K-pop groupā.
