The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has reportedly summoned Deepika Padukone, Sara Ali Khan, Shraddha Kapoor and Rakul Preet Singh as part of the investigation into the drug angle in the Sushant Singh Rajput death case.

According to Times Now, apart from Deepika, Sara, Shraddha and Rakul, Simone Khambatta, Karishma Prakash and Shruti Modi have been called too.

If media reports are to be believed, NCB will start grilling of the Bollywood stars in the next three days.

"As part of our investigation, we issued summons to few people. They are expected to join the probe in next few days, said Ashok Jain," NCB official.

As per reports, the NCB official said that it has summoned Khambatta, Rakul and Sushant's former manager Shruti Modi on September 24.

However, Deepika, along with Karishma, has been called for questioning on September 25 while Sara and Shradhha have been called on September 26.

According to media reports, Deepika is shooting for a film in Goa these days.

Social media was earlier flooded with memes and trolls targeting Deepika Padukone, after her manager was summoned by the NCB.

This apart, Madhu Mantena Verma, a noted producer, who gave blockbusters like 'Udta Punjab' and 'Ghajini', also today deposed before the Narcotics Control Bureau in a drug-related case.

The NCB had on Tuesday questioned Kwan Talent Management Agency CEO Dhruv Chitgopekar. The agency also questioned Sushant's talent manager Jaya Saha for the second time on Tuesday. Both of them were questioned for over six hours.
