#Boycott Bingo: Ranveer Singh’s Ad Upset Sushant Singh Rajput Fans; Brand Calls It Erroneous Move
Sushant Singh Rajput fans were quite upset with Ranveer Singh’s Bingo ad that includes some scientific terms. That is why yesterday they started trending #Boycott Bingo on Twitter. Ranveer is the brand ambassador of Bingo and has been doing its ads for the last couple of years.
The latest ad however seems to have irked SSR fans because it shows the Gully Boy actor using terms like photon and algorithms. As is known, Sushant Singh Rajput was into quantum physics and loved unraveling mysteries of the world. He even started a couple of ventures dedicated to science and technology.

SSR Fans Thought Ranveer Singh’s Bingo Ad is Making Fun of Their Favorite Star
SSR stood out among the rest of the movie stars because of his inclination towards science and technology. So when Ranveer used certain scientific terms in the Bingo ad, SSR fans thought that they were making fun of Sushant. Rather they thought that Ranveer has teamed up with Bingo to mock Sush.

The ad shows a few senior citizens asking Ranveer about his career plans. In reply, he says, ““Paradoxical photons of atrangi algorithm ko E = mc2 mein laga kar interstellar Mitra Mandal conference ke aliens ki feelings match karne ka plan hai.” (sic)
Bingo Issues a Statement Calling the Boycott An Erroneous Move
After a lot of uproar on social media, Bingo came out with its clarification for the Ranveer Singh ad.
In its statement given to DNA, the brand said, “A completely false, erroneous and mischievous message is being posted/circulated alleging that an advertisement of Bingo! is making fun of a late Bollywood celebrity. Such kind of erroneous messages is knowingly spreading falsehoods. We request you to not fall prey to such mischievous posts. The recent Bingo! the advertisement was shot more than a year ago in October 2019. It is being aired this year because of a delay in the launch of Bingo! Mad Angles Cheese Nachos and Bingo! Mad Angles Pizza due to the Covid-19 pandemic.” (sic)
After the statement from Bingo, things have settled down as it is obvious that neither Ranveer Singh nor the brand intended to mock SSR.
