A Masterclass Moment Goes Viral
Fueling the anticipation, singer Vishal Mishra shared a heartfelt video on Sunday that instantly struck a chord online. The clip captures Roop Kumar Rathod gently guiding Mishra through Jaate Hue Lamhon.
As Rathod plays the harmonium, Mishra lends his voice, while the veteran singer listens intently, his expressions reflecting quiet approval and contentment.
A Note of Gratitude From the Singer
Sharing the video, Mishra wrote, "Aapke saamne aapka gaana gaana aur aapka aashirvaad paana mera saubhagya hai.Yeh pal hamesha mere saath rahenge sir @RoopkumarRathod." (sic)
He further added, "#JaateHueLamhon Ka humara version, Mithoon, main aur #Border2 ki poori team, aapko , @Javedakhtarjadu sir aur @The_AnuMalik ji ko dedicate karte hain. #JaateHueLamhon out tomorrow." (sic)
Internet Reacts: Praise Meets Pause
The video sparked mixed reactions. While many applauded the warmth between the two singers and Rathod’s genuine appreciation, others questioned the need to revisit a classic.
One user commented, "The legend, Mr. Rathore is praising this new talent for singing this so beautifully and after reading the comments, I am failed to understand why people are showing hate towards him? when he acknowledges that Vishal is doing the right why are we discouraging?" (sic)
Another countered, "There was absolutely no need to remake this song. It is an eternal melody with brilliant expressions by @RoopkumarRathod Ji. A humble request to use the original song as it is instead of remaking it. Some classics gain power with time, not alterations, and the original already carries the emotion perfectly." (sic)
A third simply summed it up, "Song nahi magic hai ..Great Roop Kumar Rathod ji .." (sic)
