Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar continues to rewrite commercial milestones long after its theatrical release, emerging as a defining success for Hindi cinema.

On its 44th day at the box office, the Aditya Dhar-directed action thriller saw a notable uptick in collections during its seventh Saturday, climbing around 71.43 per cent on the day and adding roughly Rs 3 crore to its tally.

With this surge, the Ranveer Singh starrer film’s global gross has soared past Rs 1,313 crore, cementing its place among Indian cinema’s biggest-ever hits.

Since opening on December 5, Dhurandhar has enjoyed a rare and sustained theatrical run, consistently drawing audiences week after week, both domestically and overseas.

Its robust performance includes a strong showing in the domestic market, where it has crossed the Rs 870 crore net mark, complemented by equally impressive international receipts that have pushed its worldwide total past the Rs 1,300 crore milestone.

The film’s success story reflects not just its explosive opening weeks, but also enduring audience interest that has kept it performing well deep into its seventh week. 

It has repeatedly outpaced or matched the longevity of recent blockbusters, maintaining double-digit occupancy figures and generating steady revenue across weekdays and weekends alike.

Dhurandhar has now joined an elite club of Indian films that have grossed over Rs 1,000 crore worldwide- a rare feat in the industry- and stands as one of the highest-grossing Indian films of recent years. 

The buzz around the franchise has only grown stronger with the announcement of Dhurandhar 2, scheduled to hit theaters on March 19, 2026, promising to build on the monumental success of the first installment.
