Bhubaneswar: She may have done just two films in Bollywood and one in Tollywood, we cannot ignore the fact that she has swept everyone of their feet sporting the million dollar smile and garnered a huge fan base in such a short span with her electric performances. Actress Disha Patani certainly needed no introduction, as a thousand voices cheered when she arrived at a city mall for the opening of first Marks & Spencer store.
In an exclusive interview to OTV, a smiling Disha spoke about the ‘lovely’ people of Odisha, on taking home Rasagola and working in the Odia film industry.
“I was very excited to come here to Odisha. Bhubaneswar is a beautiful place and the people here are also beautiful. If I get time, I would definitely want to visit a few places in and around the city”, she said.
On her next Bollywood venture, she said, “Bharat is scheduled to release next year. You can all see me there.” Disha’s next film ‘Bharat’ is slated for an Eid release in 2019. The film is directed by Ali Abbas Zafar and features superstar Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif.
The actress has been flooded with offers ever since her first two Bollywood films -- M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story’ and ‘Baaghi 2’ -- were successful at the box office.
Asked about the probabilities of working in the vast developing Odia film industry, she said, “Yes Yes.. Sure. Why not? If I get a good script, I will definitely do a film.”
