With the world coming to a standstill because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the biggest film industry in the world, Bollywood too witnessed the jolt. Big budget pictures were put on halt indefinitely resulting in thousands of people running out of jobs. But after months of uncertainty, the mega industry is back in business.
With the Centre relaxing norms in the wake of Unlock 4.0, Akshay Kumar’s Bell Bottom is the first Bollywood film to commence shooting in Glasgow, Scotland.
The highly anticipated film Bell Bottom is a spy thriller set in the 80’s that also stars Vaani Kappor, Huma Qureshi and Lara Dutta.
The Khiladi Kumar was in a dashing retro look and seen driving a vintage car while shooting for the movie.
The crew is reportedly maintaining strict health precautions and has an on-site doctor on the set.
Vaani Kapoor has also flown to Glasgow recently and is expected to join the shoot. As the cameras have started rolling for Bell Bottom, we can expect that the film industry will slowly be on the business tracks once again.
Though the opening up is currently restricted to shooting (as restrictions on theatres are yet to be lifted), we can expect a massive change in the way the film production had been going in the Tinsel town since decades.
