Bigg Boss Shocking Controversies: From Suicide Attempts To Assaults, Arrests and Threats

Bigg Boss and controversies go hand in hand. While fights between contestants are normal in the Bigg Boss house, many times these fights become abusive, violent and lead to threats, assaults, and arrests. In the past, many such controversies did rock the house of Bigg Boss. More often it was the tight control of Salman Khan that resolved the issues.

But at times, even Bhaijan became enraged and lashed out at the contestants even threatening to leave the show.

When Zubair Khan Tried to Commit Suicide Inside the House

Zubair Khan, a contestant in Bigg Boss 11 tried to commit suicide after Salman Khan chided him during the Weekend Ka Vaar. Zubair was the much-publicized relative of don Dawood Ibrahim and misbehaved with other contestants of the show. Enraged Salman called Zubair a nalla (useless) don.

The superstar even said, “Kasam khuda ki, tere ko kutta nahi bana diya na, toh mera naam Salman Khan nahi (I swear to God, if I don’t make you a dog, my name is not Salman Khan).”  Zubair filed a police complaint against Salman after his eviction.

Kamaal R Khan created one of the biggest Bigg Boss controversies when he threw a water bottle at fashion designer Rohit Verma. Incidentally, instead of hitting Rohit, it accidentally hit Shamita Shetty. He also had a big fight with Raju Shrivastav, the famous standup comedian.

Armaan Kohli Assaulting Sofia Hayat Was One of Ugliest Bigg Boss Controversies

Yet another contestant infamous for his hot temper was the Bigg Boss 7 contestant Armaan Kohli. He assaulted contestant Sofia Hayat with a mop. The Santacruz police initially booked a complaint of assault. But after obtaining the CCTV footage of the entire incident, the Lonavla city police added charges of sexual harassment against him. Later on, after a brief arrest, the police released him on bail.

One of the other ugliest Bigg Boss controversies is when Bigg Boss 10 contestant Swami Om threw urine on Rohan Mehra and Bani J. The show makers kicked the self-styled godman out. Here also he made a lot of drama and did not take his eviction lightly. So the security personnel finally escorted him out of the house.

In the same way, Madhurima Tuli attacked Vishal Singh with a frying pan after he threw water at her. Later on, she was evicted from the Bigg Boss 13 house.
