Bigg Boss 19: Farrhana Bhatt sparks outrage for calling Gaurav Khanna ‘aurat’ during heated argument

The latest episode of Bigg Boss 19 turned fiery as a major showdown erupted between Farrhana Bhatt and Gaurav Khanna during the captaincy task.

What began as a task-related disagreement quickly spiralled into a heated exchange, drawing widespread backlash from viewers.

Farrhana’s controversial remark, where she called Gaurav “aurat” (woman) as an insult, has triggered a storm online, with fans demanding strict action from host Salman Khan.

The Captaincy Task Turns Chaotic

In the captaincy task, contestants were asked to walk across a guitar-like platform, and after each round, the two people standing on one box when the music stopped would be eliminated from the race. The task soon turned aggressive, with contestants pushing and shoving to secure their positions.

In the first round, Shehbaz and Tanya were eliminated, and Shehbaz took charge as the Sanchalak (task in charge). During the second round, a heated clash broke out between Farrhana and Mridul as both tried to hold their ground. The argument escalated when Farrhana called Mridul a “gawar” (uncivilised person), prompting him to retaliate.

When Gaurav intervened, telling her she brought it upon herself, Farrhana lashed out at him, saying, “Aap aurat ho aurat. Koi point of view hi nahi hai” (“You are a woman and have no point of view”). Gaurav calmly replied, “Keep speaking and show people the real you.”

Viewers Demand Action Against Farrhana

The internet exploded soon after the episode aired. A clip of the incident went viral on Reddit, with users expressing anger over Farrhana’s sexist remark. One post read, “Is being a woman something to be ashamed of now? Farhana keeps reaching a new low every day.” Many echoed similar sentiments, calling her language “disgraceful” and demanding that Salman Khan reprimand her on Weekend Ka Vaar.

Several comments called for her eviction, with one user writing, “Salman should do something and get her out of the house,” while another added, “Farrhana is a shameful excuse for a human being. Absolute disgrace.”

Not the First Time Farrhana Has Crossed the Line

This is not Farrhana Bhatt’s first controversy inside the Bigg Boss house. Earlier in the season, she was slammed for making personal attacks on Baseer Ali and Kunickaa Sadanand and even calling Neelam “2 Kodi ki aurat” (a two-rupee woman). Salman Khan had previously scolded her for her unacceptable behavior, and fans now expect another strong reaction this weekend.

Farrhana is currently nominated for eviction alongside Abhishek Bajaj, Neelam Giri, Ashnoor Kaur, and Gaurav Khanna after Amaal nominated her over Tanya. Reports suggest a possible double eviction this week, which Salman Khan is expected to confirm during Weekend Ka Vaar.
