Tanya and Neelam Mock Ashnoor’s Weight

The controversy began when Tanya and Neelam were heard discussing Ashnoor’s weight gain during a live feed conversation.

Tanya commented that despite Ashnoor’s regular gym sessions, she still appeared to have gained weight. Neelam added that she didn’t understand how Ashnoor’s daily workouts weren’t showing results.

The discussion soon turned personal, with Tanya allegedly saying, “Fugge jaisa mooh lekar ghoom rahi hai” (she’s walking around with a balloon-like face), while another contestant, Amaal, compared her to an egg. Neelam was also heard saying, “Dadi lag rahi hai” (she looks like a grandmother), while Shehbaaz mocked, “Itni exercise karti hai, moti hi rehti hai” (she works out so much yet remains fat).

Their comments didn’t stop there. During the Weekend Ka Vaar episode, Tanya and Neelam reportedly criticised Ashnoor’s outfit, claiming it didn’t suit her body type. Tanya even remarked that the dress would have looked better on her or Neelam.

Fans Outraged by Body-Shaming Remarks

As soon as the live feed clip surfaced, fans flooded social media platforms with criticism against Tanya and Neelam

Many viewers accused them of bullying and body-shaming a young contestant who has shown grace throughout her time in the house.

One fan wrote, “This happens when you can’t compete, so you start talking ill about others.” Another user praised Ashnoor for her confidence, saying, “She’s already insecure about her body but still walks with confidence. She hasn’t said a bad word about anyone, and they’re just shaming her for no reason.”

Calls for Accountability from Makers

Several viewers also criticised the show’s producers for not addressing the issue. Many claimed that the body-shaming remarks were not included in the main episode, accusing the makers of protecting the contestants involved.

“Body-shaming is not content—it’s a serious issue,” one fan wrote. “The makers should take strict action against Tanya and Neelam instead of ignoring it.” Another comment read, “Shame on the makers for not showing this clip. This behaviour should never be tolerated on national television.
