Bigg Boss contestants are often seen either fighting with each other or gossiping about somebody. However, some of the Bigg Boss 13 contestants were recently seen discussing about Odisha’s centuries-old Puri Jagannath Temple and Sun Temple of Konark in Puri district.
In two video clips shared by a facebook page ‘1000 thing to do in Puri’, Bigg Boss 13 contestants Siddharth Shukla, Paras Chhabra, Mahira Sharma, Aarti Singh and Shefali Jariwala were seen discussing about the marvellous architectural pattern of 13th century Sun Temple and the mouth watering ‘Abadha’ of 12th century Jagannath Temple.
Starting the conversation, Paras questioned, “I have heard the Sun Temple in Konark shines.”
Correcting him, Siddharth replied, “No, it doesn’t dazzles but it is made up of black stone. It is the only temple in the world dedicated to Sun God like the only temple dedicated to God Brahma in Jaipur, Rajasthan. The architecture of the temple is such that one can calculate the exact time and month by analysing the pattern of the sunrays on the temple. One can also know if the sun is in southern or northern hemisphere,” added Siddharth.
On being asked by Paras about the importance of Sun Temple, Shefali joined the conversation and said, “The architectural pattern works like a watch.”
About the Puri Srimandir, Shefali said, “You know, Puri Jagannath Temple is really nice.”
“Ohhh... I love the food of the temple. The Chhapan Bhog...Oh my God! I can’t get over that,” an excited Siddharth intervened.
On this, an astonished Aarti says, “What, Chhapan Bhog is served in the temple every day?”
“Yes, it is available for the devotees every day,” replied Shefali.
