Based On True Story, Odia Movie 'Babu Bhaijaan' To Hit Theatres Soon

Bhubaneswar: Ollywood actor Arindam Roy, who is known for experimenting with characters, will once again entertain audience pairing opposite Shivani in his upcoming film 'Babu Bhaijaan'.

Based on a true story, Babu Bhaijaan will highlight the inspiring and struggling life of Abdul Amin Khan alias Babu, who rose to success based on sheer hardwork. From the slums of Balasore to a successful businessman of Delhi, the movie promises full entertainment package for audience.

Actor Arindam said, "There are many inspiring people in the society but they do not get recognition."

"It is is one-of-its-kind story in Ollywood. The storyline of the movie is how a common man becomes successful through his hardwork and dedication. We hope the output entertains the audience," said actress Shivani.

Khawaja Garib Nawaz Productions' movie, Babu Bhaijaan is being directed by Tapas Sargharia and produced by Santosh Das. The shooting of the movie has started and it is likely to hit the theatres during Durga Puja.

Director of Babu Bhaijaan, Tapas Sagaria said, "I have always tried to come up with new concepts for the audience and this time too, I have tried to do something different. The movie is based on an inspirational character."

"I had always thought that whenever I make movies, it will be based on original stories. At a time when biopics are being given priority, I thought that the original plot of the story will definitely inspire and entertain the Odia cinema lovers," said producer, Santosh Das.

Veteran Mihir Das will be playing a different character in the movie. The star cast also includes- Bobby Mishra, Manoj Mishra and Pradyumna Lenka while actress Bidusmita will also be seen as an important character in the biopic.
