Baahubali Prabhas starrer high-octane action movie 'Saaho' and Kollywood actor Suriya's upcoming project 'Kaappaan' were reportedly slated to release on August 15, 2019. Undeniably, Prabhas and Suriya have their own huge fan base and there were speculations that ‘a clash of titans’ would be witnessed on the Independence day.

However, as per the recent reports, 'Saaho' and 'Kaappaan' will not be releasing on the same day and this news will certainly calm down the fans and admirers of both the actors.

Reportedly, release of 'Kaappaan' has been postponed by the makers and will now be releasing on August 30, while the release of 'Saaho' remains on August 15.

All are aware of the craze for Prabhas that has increased in the recent times for which it was decided by the 'Kaappaan' team to avert the clash with ‘Saaho’ as it is one of the highly anticipated movies of Darling Prabhas, said sources.

The 'Singam' actor is currently shooting for 'Kaappaan' and KV Anand is directing the movie. If media reports are to be believed, the 'Ghazini' actor discussed with the producers of ‘Kaappaan’ and insisted to push the release date to avoid clash with ‘Saaho’.

The star cast of Kaappaan includes Malayalam superstar Mohanlal, Saayeesha Saigal, Samuthirakani and Arya. A few days back, the teaser of Kaappaan was released in which Suriya was seen in four different ensembles- a bearded man, an angry farmer, a suave criminal and a corporate employee.

On the other hand, Dharma Productions, T-Series and UV Creations are producing the Prabhas starrer ‘Saaho’ with Sujeeth as the director. The movie also stars Shraddha Kapoor as the lead lady and Neil Nitin Mukesh as the antagonist with Arun Vijay, and Evelyn Sharma among others. The highly-anticipated movie will release in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
