Hyderabad: Anushka Shetty has given the south film industry a number of block buster movies, including SS Rajamouli's 'Baahubali: The Beginning' and 'Baahubali: The Conclusion'. She has also done quite a few female centric movies like 'Arundhati' and 'Rudhramadevi' which mesmerised her fans.
Her recent release after 'Baahubali 2' was also a female centric movie, 'Bhaagamathie', which was not only a box office hit but it also became the first female oriented south Indian movie to gross $ 1 million at USA box office.
Recently, Anushka remembered the first day of her in front of camera, after such a long journey in the industry, and shared a picture with a heart-touching message.
She captioned a still from the movie: "March 12 2005 throw back to my first day in front of camera ...fear, clueless, excitement, all the possible emotions felt in that one moment before THE word ACTION and the feelings continues with every new movie I do ...a big thank u Annapurna studio, supri Nagarjuna garu , Puri Jaganath garu,Sachin ( makeup & hair ) for super, sonu and the entire team ...for standing by me, believing in me, and helping me be the best of me ....and it continues with every single movie of mine the crew and cast every single one of them, Hemchand and ASF and audience... means a lot."
Anushka's first movie was a heist-thriller with Nagarjuna Akkineni titled 'Super' which was written and directed by Puri Jagannadh.
On personal front, there have been rumours of Anushka and Prabhas marriage since the day of the release of the first part of 'Baahubali. However, both the actors have refuted the rumours.
