“Baahubali” fame and popular television actor from Hyderabad Madhu Prakash have been arrested by the police allegedly for his involvement in the death of his wife Bharati. According to reports, Bharati committed suicide late night on August 6 at the couple’s home hanging her to the ceiling fan.
Bharati Suspected Madhu Prakash Of Having Affair
Bharati worked at a private firm and was upset with the profession of Madhu who would always return late at home. Incidentally, she also suspected him of having an affair with a co-star. According to Bharti’s family members, this did not go well down with their daughter. The couple quarreled daily on the same issue. The family of Bharati suspects the involvement of Madhu Prakash in the death of Bharati.
They married in 2014 and stayed with parents of Madhu Prakash at Panchavati Colony, Hyderabad. According to the report, Madhu told his wife that he was going to the gym and later on went for the shooting of a TV show around 10 am on Tuesday. When the actor did not return home after a long time, Bharati called him at the shoot and asked him to return home. She also threatened to kill herself.
However, Madhu Prakash ignored her threats and when came back home at 7.30 pm found her hanging from the ceiling inside her room. The body of Bharati has been sent to Osmania General Hospital for post-mortem.
Madhu Harassed Wife For Dowry?
Bharati’s parents have filed a complaint alleging that Madhu Prakash was harassing their daughter for dowry and was also having affair with another woman. They also claimed giving Rs.15 lakh to the actor as dowry at the time of marriage.
