At Indian Idol 11, Zeenat Aman Reveals Interesting Facts About Amitabh Bachchan

Indian Idol 11 recently had a special guest in the form of the yesteryear queen of celluloid, Zeenat Aman. During the show, the actress revealed many memories and experiences regarding her co-star, and more. The “Laila Mein Laila” dancer was paired a lot of time with the mega superstar Amitabh Bachchan and hence has many memories to share.

Zeenat Aman revealed some interesting facts about Big B which show why he continues to be the “Shahenshah” of Bollywood. According to Zeenatji, Amitabh Bachchan was one actor who demanded maximum retakes for a shot which were much more than taken by any of the actors in those days. Similarly, he was always punctual and reached the sets for shooting on time. The actress said that many times he even reached before time to ensure that the shooting does not get delayed because of him.

While recalling one incident during the shooting of the famous song “Khaike Pan Banaras Wala” Zeenat Aman said that Amitji took countless retakes since he wanted this song from “Don” to be perfect.

Zeenat Aman Sees Good Potential In Rohit Raut

Indian Idol 11 is now slowly moving towards the finale as the top 6 contestants will now fight for the title. One of the leading contestants, Rohit Raut sang the song “Salamat Rahe Dostana Hamara” from the film “Dostana” in which Zeenatji starred opposite two leading stars of that time-Amitji and Shatrughan Sinha. The actress was immensely impressed by Rohit’s singing and said that there is a strong chance of him becoming the second Indian Idol winner from Maharashtra.

The first title was won by Abhijit Sawant who is from Mumbai. Apart from the singing of the contestants, the comments and remarks of judges also make the show very much entertaining. The banter and romantic vibes between the host Aditya Narayan and judge Neha Kakkar have been the highlight of this season.
