Despite his brief screen time, Warsi’s quirky gangster act became one of the most talked-about moments from Shah Rukh Khan’s son’s directorial debut on Netflix. For the actor, the role was never about size, it was about sincerity. “No role is too small if done with conviction and flair,” he said.

Why Arshad Said Yes Instantly

In a candid chat with India Today, Warsi revealed the real reason behind accepting the project, his fondness for Shah Rukh Khan and his family. “I did it because he is Shah Rukh Khan’s son, and I love both of them,” he shared. “Aryan called and said there’s a small role for one day, and I just said, ‘When and where?’ I didn’t even ask for the script.”
