On Army Day 2021 let us track down the upcoming Bollywood movies that are celebrating the contribution of Indian soldiers and army officers.

Army Day Special - Vicky Kaushal To Portray Field Marshal Manekshaw and Udham Singh

Uri: The Surgical Strike was the biggest thing to happen for Vicky Kaushal. It established him as the mainstream actor who can carry a film on his shoulders. And that is why currently he is doing two movies both of which are biopic on the lives of people who served the country in one way or the other.

Vicky Kaushal will be seen as Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw in the movie by the same name. Written by Bhavani Iyer and directed by Raazi director Meghna Gulzar, Vicky felt honored for being a part of a movie dedicated to the legendary Field Marshal.

On his death anniversary last year, the actor shared his first look for the flick as well as a short clip of Sam Manekshaw. Vicky wrote, "A huge honor and an even bigger responsibility."

In yet another biopic, Vicky will be playing the role of Sardar Udham Singh, the legendary freedom fighter who assassinated the then lieutenant Governor-general of Punjab Michael O'Dwyer as an act of revenge for the Jallainwala Bagh massacre.

Helmed by Shoojit Sircar, the movie will most probably release during the first half of this year.

Sidharth Malhotra's Shershaah Is a Biopic on Captain Vikram Batra

Sid will be portraying the character of legendary Paramveer Chakra recipient Captain Vikram Batra in Dharma Productions Shershaah.

Sidharth will be playing a double role of Vikram Batra and his identical twin brother Vishal. Kiara Advani will play the role of Dimple Cheema.
