In his reply to this post, the famous director wrote, "Yama was seen yesterday .. Today, Yamraj himself left home. He said - now you have to make more films. If you don't make a film and don't goofy/devout boycott, then his life will not be meaningful. They got meaning, so left me behind."

Fans of SSR got angry after Anurag in his tweet revealed snaps of old Whatsapp chat with Sushant's manager. In his tweet, the director called the Kedarnath actor too problematic.
A few days ago the director grabbed the limelight yet again after he visited Republic Bharat's office to gift chappals to Arnab Goswami. Along with the standup comedian Kunal Kamra, the director on his birthday framed a special gift of the slipper and went to Republic Bharat's office with the intention to give it as an award for excellence to Republic TV's Editor-in-Chief.
Kunal Kamra shared a related post on his social media channel tweeting, "Birthday boy @anuragkashyap72 & me went to the @republic’s office to give Arnab excellence in journalism award... Republic security said bina permission ke allowed nahi hai..."
Confirming the same, Anurag came up with a reply to this tweet. The director wrote, "Best birthday everrr .. उसने पूछा था , “किधर हूँ मैं ?” तो मैं गया । बोला बिना permission अलाउड नहीं है । यह @republic वालों को भी permission लेना चाहिए ना."
