When the MeToo movement gained momentum in 2018, women came out in large numbers to openly speak about their terrifying experiences of sexual harassment at their workplaces. Some big names in the Hindi film industry like Nana Patekar and Sajid Khan tumbled out of the closet.

Filmmaker Sajid Khan was then accused of sexual harassment by two actresses and a journalist. Following that, he was forced to step down from Houseful 4 as a director and Farhad Samji competed the film with his name on the director credit.

Recently, another model has accused Sajid Khan of sexually harassing her when she was just 17. The accuser also took to Instagram stories to say that she did not speak up for fame or money and  condemned people who abused her in the post's comments.

Paula, an Indian model, shared her #MeToo story with a long note on Instagram. According to her, Sajid tried to touch her and even told her to strip in front of him for a role in his movie, Houseful.

The model shared that she did not speak up in 2018 because she had to look after her family and had no godfather in the film industry. Now that her parents aren’t with her anymore, she decided to break her silence. She concluded her note saying that people like Sajid should be behind bars for not only indulging in casting couch but also for stealing away people's dreams.

Earlier Actress Saloni Chopra and Rachel White had opened up about how the director tried to outrage their modesty and asked for sexual favours in return of work. Journalist Aahana Kumar also accused him of trying to make her uncomfortable by talking about her past sexual abuse history.

Bipasha Basu who worked with Sajid in Humshakals shared, "I am glad that women are speaking up about the atrocities of these men with power and clout. It was just his general attitude towards women that would disturb me. He cracked lewd jokes openly and was pretty rude to all girls," and added, "I had sworn never to work in a humiliating environment for women ever again after Humshakals.."

Dia Mirza, had also confessed that she agreed to the fact that the filmmaker was "obnoxious, extremely sexist and ridiculous,"

Earlier in response to the allegations put on her brother, Farah Khan had tweeted "This is a heart breaking time for my family. We have to work through some very difficult issues. If my brother has behaved in this manner he has a lot to atone for. I don’t in any way endorse this behaviour and stand in solidarity with any woman who has been hurt,"
