National Awards Glory for Animal

Earlier this year, Animal bagged three honours at the 71st National Film Awards, Best Music Direction (Background Score), Special Mention for Re-Recording Mixer, and Best Sound Design. Sharing his pride, Anil Kapoor had posted a celebratory note praising the technical team, calling them “What a team. What a roar.”

A Film That Stirred Both Applause and Debate

Animal follows the turbulent bond between Vijay (Ranbir Kapoor) and his father, played by Anil Kapoor. Rashmika Mandanna starred as the female lead, alongside Triptii Dimri, Saurabh Sachdeva and Shakti Kapoor.

While the film enjoyed massive commercial success, it also drew criticism, with many viewers labelling it 'misogynistic.'

As Animal completes two years, the buzz surrounding it remains as strong as ever, a testament to its unforgettable impact, powerful performances and the conversations it continues to spark across audiences and critics alike.
