Alia Bhatt & Ranbir Kapoor's Brahmastra Has Harry Potter Connect?

Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor’s “Brahmastra” is the most awaited movie of 2020. Directed by Ranbir’s close friend Ayan Mukherjee the flick also stars Amitabh Bachchan and Nagarjuna as well as Shah Rukh Khan in a cameo. Recently the story of the movie was leaked and it seems that the storyline has a strong resemblance to the famous JK Rowling series on Harry Potter. Some even believe that the script has been inspired from the ever-so-famous “Avengers” series.

Amitabh Plays Guru Of Ranbir In ‘Brahmastra’

In this flick with a mythological twist, Ranbir plays the role of a man called Shiva who has a superpower with the help of which he can emit fire from his hand. Alia Bhatt is his love interest called Isha whereas Amitabh Bachchan is Shiva’s Guru. South Indian superstar Nagarjuna will be playing an archaeologist on a mission who wants to restore a very old temple in Varanasi. Mouni Roy and Sourav Gurjar are playing the antagonists in “Brahmastra.”

In this trilogy, the story revolves around a Brahmastra which is the weapon of God that was broken during ancient times and stored in multiple places in the land of god in India. Shiva who discovers his special power of emitting fire from hand ultimately gets drawn towards hunting down this weapon. The character of Nagarjuna will play a pivotal role in the discovery of this Brahmastra.

Now all the Harry Potter fans know that Lord Voldemort broke his soul into pieces and created six Horcruxes so that no one would be able to kill him. He would be killed only when all these Horcruxes would be destroyed which ultimately leads to his end. Similarly, in “Brahmastra” the different parts are hidden in multiple places and only by bringing them together can Shiva create that weapon.

Even the sets of the movie are rumoured to be inspired by Avengers. Hopefully, the team of Ayan Mukherjee, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor will be able to create the same magic as these internationally acclaimed movies have done.
